Connecting Alumni and Students Around Common Interests, Affinities and Activities

The Brown Alumni Association (BAA) has a longstanding history of supporting student-alumni interaction around a variety of topics including career choices, diversity, admissions, and leadership support & development.

Our main areas of focus are building tradition, community and connection through class, and encouraging opportunities for leadership development and support.

Class Coordinating Board

Undergraduate Class Officers work to build class spirit, unity and alumni connections

Student Grant Program

The BAA offers two grants to help students bring alumni to campus for on-campus programs. The Grant for Alumni Student Career Programs (GASCP) is for career-related programs, and Multicultural Alumni Committee (MAC) Grant is for programs that involve alumni of color.

For more information on the BAA’s student-alumni programs, contact Julie Roderiques Schmidt in the Office of Alumni Relations.
